Project Scope:
American Contractors Equipment Co. needed a redesign of their former website. After an analysis of the former design, it was determined that the company lacked a powerful presence online. For the new design our goal was to create a layout with dimension and visual dynamic. This was achieved by using a dark background to accent the company's primary color, red, white and blue.A visual dynamic was achieved by using misaligned shapes for the focal point of the website. The company’s patriotic theme was further enforced through the use of a subtle flag over the header.
Depth was added through the use of subtle bevels around focal points of the site, such as the sidebar headers and navigation items.
Finally, the site was converted from a static HTML page to a content dynamic site using SilverStripe CMS.
